What kind of material you choose:

304 Stainless steel is the most economical of corrosion resistant materials;

316 stainless steel particularly in salt-water applications;

Brass used on oil strainers and plumbing screens;

N4/N6 alkali-resistant, used in batteries and hydrogen purification;

Monel400 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in fluorine gas, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and their derivatives;
